Conference: Stewards of Change
2006 Conference - "Technological Innovation – Creating
A New Child Welfare Business Model"
Building on the success of the 2005 Stewards
of Change conference, this year's event focuses on information
technology, identified by conference participants as a key issue
to explore. It is also the conclusion of a year long environmental
scan conducted by SOC for Annie E. Casey during 2005/2006.
The conference seeks to address the extraordinary need for better
information and technology within
child welfare. Lectures and activities will provide both wide
ranging dialogue and an opportunity to
develop a deep understanding of the role that information technology
can play in stimulating innovation, productive change and better
outcomes in human service organizations.
